Working of Cyclone Type Dust Collector

When dirty air enters into the Cyclone Dust Collector, a swirling movement occurs which results in a centrifugal force acting on the dust particles suspended in the air stream. Towards the cyclone dust walls, the denser particles are forced to move outwards. Then they fall downwards, towards the dust exit. The clean air is directed towards the Center of the cyclone and leaves through the gas exit.
